Last night was a good one. We all ate spaghetti (yum Becky L.) with a glass of red wine. This morning at 6 am we put up the spinnaker and are heading is 230. Location at 10 am N 33.37.755, W 131.10.934 wind is around 15 knots. Jeff has had the best speed of 13.9. Last night (5 pm) the guy announces standings so far. We were 3rd in our class, 10th overall.
Message to Becky L. - to get prepared for the delivery back to Tacoma, here's what you need to do: get in your car behind the steering wheel with Nate next to you. Start turning the wheel left, right, left, right while Nate is holding for resistance. Every now and then you have to make a hard left turn fast, then fast center. This goes on for 30 minutes straight. I think you get the idea. Oh, I forgot to tell you, before you get into the car you have to throw up.
Becky (yes I'm still smiling)

This is Pat, Bill and Becky's friend. Congratulations on your progress so far. Did you notice in the pictures it looks like Bill is either the hired security guy or the official alcohol tester?? Hope you are having a great time....let Bill know I took his wife out today for her birthday and we had a great time! She doesn't look a day over 51!! pat.
I think Camps stashed some MGDs.........he's not much of a red wine drinker. Continued success!!

Hi to all, In the 98 Pacific Cup we a also had a little leak, we just wore our boots when we were below decks and kept on smiling, except of course for Nigle who had the port lower birth. He was such a complainer. I'll give Denny hints as to were to look for the leak in the next e-mail.
Enjoy, Terry
Bruce, and the rest,
The Yellow Book Tuna Count is Acacia 3 Tunas and Kokomo? Stay tuned for next season's Deadliest Catch to be moved from Dutch Harbor to Hawaii! Shall we assume dinner is Cup O'Noodles or what?
It looks like you're doing fine so far (except for the leak).
